Jason and I had the privilege to go to San Francisco over the weekend, leaving our baby Ryan for the first time! We had a great time exploring Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, Lombard Street, China Town and Little Italy.
We arrived Friday night and went straight to the hotel, got up in the morning and had breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel. Then went on our walking exploration of SF till the evening when we got all foofed up for the Exploratorium. It was an event put on by Jason's work. They did a great job putting it all together and the food was great and desserts even better! The next day (Sunday) it was time to leave but not before going exploring again and getting lost for about an hour. We ended up at the Cheesecake Factory for breakfast. So good! Wish the weekend lasted longer. Loved it!

that sounds like a blast! i think we as parents need to get away from ALL of the kids every so often! glad you could have the alone time!
So fun! Parents definitely need the alone time, as Mahina says. You two looks so young and adorable...way too young to have an 11/12-year-old! Tell Rhett I hope he's still doing awesome!
What a great weekend. It's nice to get away from our kids and have that time with our spouses that we so desperately need.
Rick and I recently had a weekend getaway. It was fabulous. So glad you were able to go. I haven't been to San Francisco since I was a young teen. My funny mom wouldn't even let us roll down the windows-she was afraid of germs or something. Needless to say, it would be fun to go back as an adult and actaully smell the San Francisco air.
I LOVE get aways with out the kiddies! How fun for you and Jason. I NEVER called you back. SORRY! I'll be better and call you this week:0)
Hi Lisa! I heard from Mahina today that your birthday is tomorrow. Sorry I can't make it to the dinner. Nathan has bishopric meeting.
OK so now you are totally a favorite! I love your blog Lisa!
Hey! I miss you!
Hey where does Jason work...I want to sign Ryan up.
