I subscribe to Reader's Digest and love the jokes in it. Well, I came across this one last night and just had to share it.
The pharmacist arrives at work to find a frightened-looking man leaning against the wall.
"What's wrong with him?" the pharmacist asks his clerk.
"He wanted cough medicine, but I couldn't find any, so I gave him a laxative."
"Laxatives won't cure a cough," yells the owner.
"Sure they will. Look at him. He's afraid to cough."

That is pretty funny, I remember my grandma always had readers digest and I remember spending hours reading the jokes as a kid. Most of them I didn't get but I still loved to catch up on my readers digest.
